About Plume

I’m Juliano Majally, an independent developer based in Nice, in the south of France.

Like everyone, I regularly need to make a PDF smaller for an online form, or send photos that are too heavy for an e-mail. And each time, the online tools I found asked me to upload my documents to their servers: payslips, contracts, ID scans, family photos. Most of these services are probably honest, but I did not like having no choice.

Modern browsers are now powerful enough to do this work themselves. So I built Plume: the same everyday tools, but everything runs on your own device. Your files never leave it.

Plume is free, with no ads, no account and no watermark. I also build Meublé, a tool for furnished rental owners in France, and Nuitées, which helps hosts with the tourist tax. Plume is a side project I use myself, and I try to keep it simple and honest.

A bug, an idea, a tool you would like to see? Write to me at juliano@majally.com. I read every message.
